AIL has the in-house capabilities to manage your “shallow” drilling requirements from drilling company management services to
consultancy based, oilfield project management. AIL's expertise is focused on shallow drilling solutions for clients requiring
drilling up to 1200m.
These services include water wells, seismic upholes, mineral exploration holes and oilfield topholes. Pioneering the use of oilfield
Tophole through its management contracts, AIL has demonstrated the huge saving potential of using “small” rigs, run to oilfield
HSE requirements, to drill tophole for oil and gas wells up to 1200m. Detailed project analysis has shown an average cost saving of
$297,000 per well by using shallow well drilling solutions (see ref and photo from PDO). AIL “shallow well” solutions are now being
offered to the CBM industry – an industry where shallow well costs are fundamental to the economic viability of concessions.
